Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon that occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated or interact in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of the others, even when the particles are separated by a large distance—instead, a quantum state must be described for the system as a whole.

Simply put, it is love on the sub-atomic level. Imagine you're a packet of light (photon) hurling through the vast darkness of space seemingly alone. Yet, you're not. You have a partner, another photon who has been intimately connected to you since you were born. And no matter how much distance separates you, or time has passed, you are connected; whatever happens to one, happens to the other, eternally.

QE: PART III "Transmutation" 2017

It is hard to keep track of every falling rock in a relationship. Each moment that contributes to the success or failure of a love can be difficult to sort. As you dig through the rubble of memories, you try and pinpoint where it all went wrong, and the very moment when you or the person you're involved with became someone completely different.
